TRANSACTIONAL ASSOCIATE - HARTFORD OR STAMFORD OFFICE

We are seeking an attorney with two to five years of experience in transactional work to join our well-established, nationally renowned Corporate Trust practice in either our Hartford or Stamford office. The Corporate Trust group works closely with the capital markets and loan agency departments of major national banks and other financial institutions, representing them as trustees, administrative agents, escrow agents and collateral or security agents in a wide variety of corporate debt, project finance, municipal bond, secured and structured financing transactions and defaults. Applicants with finance or securities/capital markets experience would be ideal. Successful applicants must have the ability to work with complex transactional documents and prioritize work in a deadline-intensive environment. We value collaboration and collegiality among our lawyers and are looking for someone proactive with strong interpersonal skills to join our team. LABOR & EMPLOYMENT ASSOCIATE - HARTFORD OFFICE

We are seeking a junior associate to join our Employer Defense & Labor Relations practice in our Hartford office. Candidates should have two to four years of experience in labor and employment law, including employment litigation, counseling, labor relations, arbitrations, negotiations and administrative proceedings. We are seeking two junior associates to join our corporate and transactional practice in our Hartford and Stamford offices. Candidates must have two to four years of general corporate and transactional experience in a law firm setting, including experience with mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, financing transactions, joint ventures and drafting and negotiating transaction documents. Candidates must be self-starters and must be able to manage due diligence investigations and work as a member of a team on complex transactions. TORT/PRODUCT LIABILITY LITIGATION ASSOCIATE - HARTFORD OR STAMFORD OFFICE

We are seeking a junior litigation associate to join our thriving national tort and product liability defense litigation practice in either our Hartford or Stamford office. Candidates should have one to two years of complex litigation experience. A focus on defending major tort and product liability lawsuits dealing with medical devices or pharmaceuticals will be looked upon favorably. Candidates must have strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills along with a client service mindset, superior communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. SCHOOL LAW/EDUCATION LAW ATTORNEY - HARTFORD OFFICE

We are seeking an attorney with one to three years of experience to join our prominent and thriving school law practice in Hartford. Experience in one or more of the following education law areas is preferred: student discipline and student rights, special education, labor relations, grievance and interest arbitrations, employment counseling, Board governance, and non-discrimination issues. Prior representation of public school districts and/or independent schools, colleges and universities strongly preferred. Strong counseling skills and exceptional presentation skills required.
