2B. Advising Clients on ADR Processes and Some Thoughts on Where the Field is Headed*
The program will focus on how best to advise your clients on use of resolution methods now and what that may hold for the future. The panelists will address issues such as selection of neutrals and use of dispute resolution processes in areas including commercial, intellectual property, information technology, environmental, and family law. Panelists also will make their prognostications of what we can expect as innovative resolution methods become more widely accepted and central to client representation. Other topics will include public awareness of ADR practices and ADR in the future of the legal profession. The presenters will give their views, followed by a moderated and interactive discussion of issues raised by the panel.
