Successfully Negotiated Settlement on Defaulted Rent Payments

Represented Greenwich, CT homeowners that rented their $10 million residence to the family of a prominent European real estate developer. The tenants defaulted in their rent payments and we sued to evict them in Housing Court. We successfully negotiated a settlement whereby tenants paid a substantial portion of the owed rent and agreed to vacate the property six months prior to the expiration of the lease.
