Alliance for Connecticut Technology 3rd Annual Innovation Day and Award Dinner

The Alliance for Connecticut Technology is a partnership of 14 organizations who are working together in a collaborative spirit to promote the acceleration of innovation and technology in Connecticut. These organizations are Connecticut Innovations (CI), the Connecticut Technology Council (CTC), the Bioscience Cluster (CURE), the Connecticut Venture Group (CVG), the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering (CASE), the Connecticut Department of Higher Education (DHE), the Biomedical Engineering Alliance Consortium-BEACON, the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT), Connecticut Development Authority (CDA), Connecticut Economic Resource Center (CERC), Department of Economic Community Development (DECD), Office of Workforce Competitiveness (OWC), Yale University, and University of Connecticut (UCONN).

The annual Innovation Day and Award Dinner is the premier event of the year for Connecticut’s technology leaders. The event increases collaboration between entrepreneurs, technology executives, investors, researchers, and elected officials statewide.

The Innovation Day consists of various workshops, organizational meetings, special interest meetings and the Innovation Fair. 900 attendees walk through the Innovation Fair to learn about the best of Connecticut’s technology drawing over 100 exhibitors.

The Award Dinner recognizes entrepreneurs, business leaders, and organizations for their outstanding contributions to the technology community. The recipients are selected by the partnering organizations, commencing with the presentation of the prestigious State of Connecticut Medal of Technology, which is presented by the Board of Governors of Higher Education.
