Senate President Pro Tempore, Donald Williams recently appointed
Matthew Ranelli, Shipman & Goodwin Attorney, to the Board of Directors of the Renewable Energy Investments Board (also know as the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund). The Fund was established by Public Act 98-28 and is intended to promote growth and development of renewable clean energy and clean energy technologies in Connecticut. The 15-member Board of Directors is charged with approving clean energy policies, programs and funding as well as developing a comprehensive plan that outlines strategies to support renewable energy sources and to stimulate demand for renewable energy.
