Mentoring
Team-Building. Each summer associate has a partner and an associate who act as his or her "siblings" throughout the summer. The main focus of the "sibling" is to help familiarize the summer associates with the firm and to be a resource for any questions or concerns on work assignments, life at the firm or what it is like to be a lawyer.
In addition to the "sibling" program, other lawyers from throughout the firm provide mentoring during the summer. In Hartford, summer associates rotate office space through various departments during the program. This furthers the opportunity to establish additional informal mentoring relationships.
