Dan Schwartz was featured as a guest on the WNPR show, "Where We Live." Dan commented on recent changes to Connecticut's Paid Sick Leave law, in addition to providing an update on how the 2006 decision of Garcetti v. Ceballos has explained the first amendment rights of employees.
Dan specifically referenced the type of medium, used by the employee to express opinion, and discussed how free-speech laws apply. In his discussion of recent employment law changes, Dan focused on the adjustment period for employers and how recent changes to the laws have brought Connecticut's Paid Sick Leave law more in-line with other employment laws, such as the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
"Where We Live," hosted by John Dankosky, is a talk show about where we live…in Connecticut, in the northeast, in the U.S.
