James Ruggeri is a member of the firm’s seven-person Management Committee.
James focuses principally in the areas of litigation, including trial and appellate involving general commercial, bankruptcy, and insurance coverage litigation. He practices actively in federal and state courts around the country.
Prior to joining Shipman & Goodwin, James was a partner at Hogan & Hartson LLP. He also served as law clerk to the Honorable Rebecca Beach Smith, U.S. District Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
