Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity
We were instrumental in the creation of the Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity (“LCD”) and we will continue to support its initiatives and efforts. The LCD is a non-profit organization whose membership includes Connecticut’s leading law firms, corporations, public sector entities and law schools. The LCD mission is to unite the resources, energy and commitment of these organizations to make Connecticut a more attractive place for attorneys of color and women to practice law and find satisfying professional opportunities. Our support for the LCD in 2007-2008 will include a partner, Gabe Jiran, serving on the LCD Board; Leslie Davenport, a partner, serving as Secretary; sponsoring and underwriting LCD meetings and events; and continuing to provide an office, secretary, and support facilities for the LCD Executive Director, Carolyn Golden Hebsgaard, in our Hartford office.
