For the second consecutive year, Shipman & Goodwin assisted Hands On Hartford with the agency’s annual Thanksgiving Drive to provide food to families in need. Volunteer efforts by attorneys and staff at the firm resulted in a generous donation of more than 1,000 pounds of food and $225 to help Hands On Hartford supply 237 area families with turkeys and all of the trimmings for their Thanksgiving meals. Dupont Archives, a Cornerstone Company (which is a firm vendor), donated 200 boxes to distribute the food.

Hands On Hartford provides direct services to people in need and promotes civic engagement and volunteerism.
