Financing export sales is a critical step to ensure international sales are successfully completed. Many exporters are unsure of what their banks may require in order to support their international sales. The US Department of Commerce and the Connecticut Development Authority have teamed up to create a workshop for small and medium sized companies and bankers who need to know how to successfully finance export sales. The workshop will include a panel discussion on how to bring financeable export sales to banks, as well as State and Federal funding agencies available to U.S. exporters. Attendees will be given an opportunity to discuss their questions in one-on-one meetings with export finance experts. Speakers from State and Federal agencies will advise on how best to finance export sales including the structuring of the sale and risk evaluation.
