Robin Frederick is a member of the firm’s seven-person Management Committee.
Robin practices in the areas of employment law and employment litigation, where she counsels employers of all types and sizes including startup, middle market and Fortune 500 companies; hedge funds and private equity firms; independent schools; and nonprofit organizations. She represents local, regional and national clients in a wide range of employment-related matters and disputes such as contract negotiations, employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, restrictive covenants and business torts. She also conducts corporate investigations relating to employee misconduct.
Robin works with clients to ensure their employment policies and practices are in compliance with applicable laws. She emphasizes preventive counseling and regularly advises clients on the impact of developments in employment law. She conducts training for corporate clients on all types of employment and Human Resources issues, including sexual harassment prevention.
Robin’s extensive litigation experience includes successfully representing clients in employment disputes and a wide range of other matters. In addition to handling cases before state and federal courts and administrative agencies, she is admitted to appear before the United States Supreme Court. Robin is also skilled in the use of alternative dispute resolution such as arbitration and mediation.
Robin is a frequent speaker on employment issues.

Defended Against Multiple Discrimination Claims
Obtained dismissals and favorable settlements for global technology industry client in a number of discrimination actions brought by employees, including actions for race, sex, disability, age, and national origin discrimination, and retaliation.
Compelled Arbitration for Wage and Discrimination Claims
Obtained dismissal of discrimination complaint before Texas human rights agency and wage claim before Texas Workforce Commission on behalf of a national web data services company. Successfully moved to compel arbitration for client.
