Bid Protest in $18 Million Mixed-Income Housing Project
Represented a Connecticut municipal housing authority on an $18 million mixed-income housing project. Shortly before construction was scheduled to begin a losing bidder filed a bid protest and threatened to seek an injunction in court that threatened to terminate the project. Under tight deadlines we prepared a formal response to the bid protest, which resulted in the losing bidder ending its protest and not seeking an injunction, thereby allowing the project to proceed.
$25 Million Dispute Over Supply and Distribution Rights
Represented an international chemical company in a $25 million dispute with another international chemical company over the supply and distribution rights to a patented chemical used to regulate the growth of plants. After extensive, highly technical discovery was taken, we moved for summary judgment on all counts. The federal district court judge granted summary judgment in our client’s favor.
