Shari's practice focuses on trial work and counseling in the areas of trade secret misappropriation and restrictive covenants, unfair trade practices, complex commercial disputes, wage and hour and employment discrimination matters. She represents domestic and international companies of all sizes, including Fortune 500 and middle market, in the financial services, manufacturing, printing, technology, real estate investment and media industries.
Shari emphasizes preventative counseling to prevent future litigation. She also conducts corporate investigations, including those involving employee misconduct.
Shari has extensive trial, arbitration and mediation experience, and litigates matters in federal and state courts throughout the country.

Defense of Breach of Joint Venture Charges and Theft of Trade Secrets Claim for $15 Million
Represented a national consumer advertising and promotions company in Connecticut state court in defense of claims alleging breach of joint venture agreement, theft of trade secrets and related business torts, seeking $15 million. Tried action to court. Obtained defense judgment on all plaintiff’s counts; and obtained judgment for defendant on breach of contract counterclaim. The result was not appealed.
