Todd Doyle’s tax practice includes all areas of international, federal, state, and local taxation. In addition to counseling corporate, partnership and limited liability clients with respect to business structuring, tax planning, audit management and tax controversy, Todd also counsels individual clients in the area of personal income taxation. 

In particular, Todd focuses his practice on the negotiation and drafting of joint venture agreements, tax indemnity agreements, and securities offerings, the planning of interstate and international business operations to minimize taxation, and individual issues of expatriation and non-resident taxation. Together with other members of the Tax Practice Group, Todd counsels both domestic and offshore investment funds in connection with fund, manager and partner formation and restructuring, investments by tax-exempt entities, and ongoing fund operations and compliance, including withholding and backup withholding rules, tax shelter disclosures and foreign financial account (FBAR) reporting. Todd has also represented local and non-resident developers on issues related to leases, conveyance tax, property tax, sales and use taxes, federal and state historic tax credits, and low-income housing (LIHTC) tax credits.
