Chuck Howard will describe the role of an organizational ombudsman and explain why it is increasingly important as an alternative dispute mechanism and as a supplement to compliance programs in light of developments in criminal, employment and corporate compliance law, demographic changes in the work force, and the way technology has changed the way we work. Particular attention will be given to the limitations of hotlines and whistleblower laws and policies.
