Louis Schatz will present the topic, “New Partnership Audit Legislation” at the 2017 Connecticut Bar Association, Connecticut Legal Conference. This annual event offers a forum to learn, connect, and collaborate with members of the legal community. Practical education seminars will be available, many of which are available for CLE credits.

Robert O'Brien will present as part of the Real Property Track, Construction Law Section, Session B, from 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.  on significant new developments occurring in the dynamic area of construction law. It is essential for those involved in this field in Connecticut—whether as a “veteran” construction lawyer, an occasional practitioner, or as an owner or contractor—to keep abreast of the changing law, legislative initiatives, and recent statutory enactments. This session will provide up-to-date information about the current state of construction law.

Greg Muccilli will also be presenting as part of the Real Property track, Session D, from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.  He will provide participants with a review and analysis of recent cases of interest to real property practitioners as well as the bills that have recently passed the most current legislative session, and a review of those bills that may not have passed, but bear watching. Topics include:

  • Important cases of 2016-17
  • Significant statute changes in the 2017 legislative session
  • CBA Real Property Section as a tool for practitioners
