As Chief Talent Officer, Christina Herrmann is responsible for the full employment life cycle of attorneys and staff. She provides expert leadership to attract, develop and retain a superior diverse workforce. She ensures that the firm offers meaningful professional development, robust performance management and competitive total rewards.  As a key member of the senior leadership team, Christina also provides strategic guidance to the Management Committee on operational matters to ensure the firm’s overall effective and efficient business operations.

Christina has been a frequent speaker on diversity, equity and inclusion matters.  She led a panel discussion on Integrating Diversity & Inclusion into Business Practices at the Center for Legal Inclusiveness in Denver, Colorado in 2019, and subsequently delivered a webinar on the same topic to the Core HR IR group in New Delhi, India in 2020.

Christina also regularly contributes to thought leadership in the areas of talent acquisition and law firm management.  She recently authored the articles: Stop Staffing Your Organization with Stepford Hires and Now is the Time for Law Firms to Maximize their C-Suite, which respectively discussed these topics.

Prior to joining Shipman & Goodwin, Christina held senior human resources executive positions at AmLaw100 firms throughout the US, with significant responsibilities for international operations.
