David Bigger and Robert Day will present the program, “Primer on Connecticut State Taxes CLE” for the Connecticut Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section. This program will introduce attorneys to Connecticut’s six major tax types (corporation business tax, individual income tax, sales and use taxes, personal property tax, real property tax, and real estate transfer and controlling interest taxes) with primary focus on income and sales tax nexus and the types of transactions subject to the sales and use taxes.

Attendees will learn:

  • The six major tax categories in Connecticut
  • When clients are subject to the Connecticut tax regime
  • When transactions might have tax implications
