2026 ABI Southwest Bankruptcy Conference

Rachael Smiley will be speaking at the American Bankruptcy Institute's (ABI) 2026 Southwest Bankruptcy Conference in Las Vegas, NV. She will be part of the panel, "Business Track: Post-Confirmation Litigation" alongside Steven M. Berman (Moderator), Venice J. Gamble, Hon. Stacey G. C. Jernigan and Aram Ordubegian.

The session covers the who, what, where and how of post-confirmation liquidation of assets, including litigation, to augment the estate for the benefit of creditors. Exploring the court’s jurisdiction and fiduciaries’ authority to pursue asset recovery, as well as reasonable procedures for pursuing litigation and monetizing claims, causes of action and other assets.
