The Fairfield County Bar Association's Business Law Committee is pleased to offer the hybrid in-person/remote seminar entitled "Cybersecurity Today: Getting Up To Speed on the Law and Liability Insurance" on March 22, 2023 at 12:30 PM. 

Marc Lombardi, a partner at Shipman, will co-present with Matheson LaFlamme, Rand Insurance.  The seminar will be presented in-house at the Fairfield County Bar Association's office to the first 25 paid member attendees. It will be live streamed so that everyone may attend, and links will be posted the day before. 

Topics will include:

  • Overview of a “cyber event”
  • Today’s privacy and cybersecurity legal and regulatory landscape
  • Basics of cyber liability insurance
  • The (very evolving) marketplace for cyber liability coverage

On behalf of Fairfield County Bar Association Business Law Co-Chairs Kevin Palumberi and Jack H. Sousa, you are invited to attend. The cost is $40 per person, with a reduced rate of $25 available for FCBA members, legal administrators, paralegals, law students and law clerks.
