Keegan Drenosky will be a speaker during the Connecticut Bar Association's webinar, "Navigating the Workplace."

The panel will discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the employment relationship. This CLE will focus on how working from home impacts employment procedures (i.e. hiring and firing, implementation of policies), how employers are adapting to laws and guidance on leave, and how workers’ compensation is evolving to address the ongoing pandemic and remote workplace claims.

You Will Learn

  • About Paid Leave and FMLA Leave issues in relation to COVID-19
  • About Leave as a reasonable accommodation in relation to COVID-19
  • About compensability of infectious diseases and remote workplace claims, and application of that law to such claims, including problems of proof of causation
  • About hiring and firing practices, updating workplace policies, and other workplace considerations in relation to COVID-19
