Vin Carannante will participate in the Connecticut Bar Foundation's virtual roundtable discussion "Telehealth: Law, Medicine, and Access to Care."

In this roundtable discussion, we will examine the intersection of law and medicine as they relate to telehealth. We will explore changes in the law that assisted with rapid, wide-spread adoption of telehealth as a healthcare delivery mechanism during the COVID-19 public health emergency as well as challenges that telehealth presents, such as consent, privacy and reimbursement. The panelists who work with telehealth every day will address the efficacy of telehealth in reaching underserved populations, access to critical mental health services and whether telehealth will continue as a major healthcare delivery mechanism in a post-pandemic world.
