Shipman partner Alfredo G. Fernández was quoted in the CT Insider article, “A new PFAS warning label is coming to many household products sold in Connecticut. Here's why.” In the article, Alfredo highlights the July 1st deadline requiring manufacturers to label certain products containing PFAS. He also notes that companies should begin preparing now, as starting January 1, 2028, many will need to reformulate products to remove intentionally added PFAS rather than simply disclose them.
