Shipman & Goodwin partner Andrew M. Zeitlin has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. The only hospital in Connecticut dedicated exclusively to the care of children, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center is nationally recognized for the comprehensive, world-class health care it provides in more than 30 pediatric specialties and subspecialties. Connecticut Children’s Office for Community Child Health is also a national leader in community-based prevention and wellness programs.

Mr. Zeitlin practices in the areas of business litigation and bankruptcy. He represents clients in both federal and state courts and in arbitration proceedings in a variety of matters, including business torts, partnership and corporate disputes, defamation claims, employment matters, white collar and securities matters, foreclosures and contract and real estate disputes. His practice includes work on trial and appellate matters. He has been listed as a Connecticut Super Lawyer in the area of Business Litigation since 2013.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Zeitlin has demonstrated his commitment to community involvement by serving on the Boards of the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford and the United Way of Western Connecticut. He also coordinates the firm’s pro bono program assisting Holocaust survivors in applying for pensions from the German government.
