Veteran criminal defense attorney Jim Bergenn recently shared his legal insights with NBC Connecticut regarding the case of Raul Valle, who stands accused of murdering 17-year-old James McGrath in 2022.
Valle is alleged to have fatally stabbed McGrath during a fight at a house party in Shelton in May 2022. In a significant development, Valle took the stand in his own defense on Monday, June 30, 2025.
