Defense of CERCLA Actions Over PCBs from Transformers in North Carolina

Defended a Connecticut-based electrical contractor in CERCLA actions pending in federal district court in North Carolina. The company is alleged to be one of many that sent used transformers to a repair shop in Raleigh that became the site of a large PCB/oil cleanup project under Superfund. The cases were voluntarily withdrawn by the plaintiffs.
