Veteran criminal defense attorney Jim Bergenn, who is often called upon to weigh in for the media in high-profile criminal trials, commented for NBC-CT on Kent Mawhinney's plea bargain in the Jennifer Dulos case. Kent Mawhinney, charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the death and disappearance of Jennifer Dulos, pleaded guilty June 13, 2025 to a lesser charge of interfering with police, ending the case with time served, court officials said.
