Jim Bergenn, a veteran criminal defense lawyer often called upon to comment for the media in high-profile criminal cases, provided a trial lawyer's analysis for NBC Connecticut news as the trial of Jose Morales got underway in Ansonia today. Jim commented on the jury selection process in the case. Morales is facing charges including murder and tampering with evidence after his daughter’s mother Christine Holloway was found dead in her Ansonia home in December of 2019. Morales’ daughter Vanessa has been missing since the day Holloway’s body was discovered.
