Remembering Charles B. Kaufmann III

The Shipman & Goodwin LLP community mourns the loss of Charlie Kaufmann, who passed away on May 24th. 

Charlie was a prominent member of the Greenwich bar, first at Holland, Kaufmann & Bartels and then starting in 2005 at Shipman & Goodwin LLP, where he remained until his retirement in 2018.  Charlie was devoted to his clients and saw the practice of law as serving not only specific clients but also the larger community.  Charlie loved his extended family, Greenwich, and his time in Wyoming.  Charlie was a friendly and pleasant soul, and he will be missed by all who loved him.
