Shipman Receives Corporate Heritage Award at Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting

The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce (GNHCC) held its Annual Meeting and Business Leadership Awards luncheon on October 14, 2021. GNHCC presented Shipman & Goodwin with the Corporate Heritage Award, which honors businesses that have operated successfully for more than 100 years. Joe Williams, a Partner in Shipman’s New Haven office, accepted the award on behalf of the firm, which was founded in 1918. The annual Business Leadership Awards recognizes individuals and businesses that have exhibited exceptional leadership skills and are active participants in business and/or community organizations. Businesses are nominated by peer chamber partners to receive awards. The Annual Meeting brings the regional business community together to celebrate GNHCC’s achievements, and includes the election of the Board of Directors and the presentation of the Corporate Heritage Award.
