Summary Judgment in Municipality's Favor on Mold Exposure Claim
Represented a municipality in a lawsuit brought by a former employee, who alleged that it was negligent by exposing her to mold in the course of her employment. Shipman argued on summary judgment both that the plaintiff's claim was barred by the statute of limitations and that the municipality was immune from plaintiff's claims. The court granted summary judgment in the municipality's favor on statute of limitations grounds and did not reach the issue of governmental immunity.
