Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in bankruptcy or in commercial litigation with an interest in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights work. Candidates must have strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, along with a client service mindset and strong case management skills. We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our Employee Benefits Practice Group in our Connecticut or Boston offices, with the ability to work two days per week remotely. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 years of employee benefits experience, including working with qualified plans, nonqualified plans, and executive compensation. Experience with drafting plan documents and amendments and dealing with complex benefits issues associated with various corporate transactions is required. Finance/Corporate Trust Attorney – Hybrid from Hartford, Stamford, Boston or Remote
We are seeking a lawyer with a minimum of four years of experience in transactional work to join our well-established, nationally renowned Corporate Trust practice. Our Corporate Trust group works closely with the capital markets and loan agency departments of major national banks and other financial institutions, representing them as trustees, administrative agents, escrow agents and collateral or security agents in a wide variety of corporate debt, project finance, municipal bond, secured and structured financing transactions and defaults. Applicants with finance or securities/capital markets experience would be ideal. Successful applicants must have the ability to work with complex transactional documents and prioritize work in a deadline-intensive environment.
