Construction Litigation Associate – Hybrid from Hartford, New Haven, or Stamford
We are seeking an associate to join our construction litigation practice in our Hartford, Stamford, or New Haven offices, with the ability to work two days per week remotely. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience appearing before local and state agencies and/or federal and state courts, ideally on construction matters. Experience with construction contracting matters is considered a plus. Candidates must have strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, along with a client service mindset and strong case management skills. Top academic credentials and excellent interpersonal skills are required. The salary range for this position is $170,000 - $205,000. Corporate Associate – Hybrid from Hartford, New Haven, Stamford or Boston
We are seeking an associate to join our corporate and transactional practice. Candidates should have a minimum of four years of general corporate and transactional experience in a law firm setting, including experience with mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, financing transactions, joint ventures and drafting and negotiating transaction documents. Candidates must be self-starters and must be able to manage due diligence investigations and work as a member of a team on complex transactions. Corporate Trust Attorney – Remote or Hybrid from Hartford, New Haven, Stamford, Boston, Dallas
We have multiple openings for a lawyer with a minimum of four years of experience to join our well-established, nationally renowned Corporate Trust practice. Our Corporate Trust group works closely with the capital markets and loan agency departments of major national banks and other financial institutions, representing them as trustees, administrative agents, escrow agents and collateral or security agents in a wide variety of corporate debt, project finance, municipal bond, secured and structured financing transactions and defaults. The Corporate Trust Attorney will contribute to the day-to-day practice of substantive corporate trust matters by supporting Firm partners in the representation of Firm clients in capital markets transactions; facilitating effective partner and attorney working relationships; and supporting the Corporate Trust Practice Group’s overall goals and business development initiatives. Applicants must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school or LL.M. degree from an ABA-accredited law school; active bar admission in the state in which the candidate maintains an office or the ability to gain admission to the relevant state bar within one year of joining the firm; and at least four years of experience as a practicing attorney at a law firm working in finance, securities, and/or capital markets. Travel to the Hartford, CT office is required for in-person attendance of new hire orientation upon commencement of employment, and may be required to attend occasional in-person meetings or other events at the firm's office location in Hartford, CT and/or occasional legal conferences in other U.S. states. Real Estate Finance Attorney – Hybrid from Hartford, Stamford or Boston
We are seeking an attorney to join our national commercial real estate lending practice in our Connecticut or Boston offices, with the ability to work two days per week remotely. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in commercial real estate primarily representing lenders. Preference for candidates with experience in lender representation in all asset classes (e.g. office, multi-family, retail, hospitality), and experience with structured debt and secondary market (e.g. the buying and selling of loans). Knowledge of New York governing law, particularly New York lien law, and/or consolidation and assignments is preferred, as is admission to the NY and CT bar. Trusts & Estates Attorney – Hybrid from Boston
We are seeking an attorney to join our Trusts & Estates practice group in our Boston office, with the ability to work two days per week remotely. Candidates should have eight or more years of experience in trust and estate planning and administration, including knowledge of relevant state and federal tax laws. Experience with multigenerational wealth transfers, business succession planning, gift and income tax planning, charitable planning, and nuptial agreements is preferred. We value collaboration and collegiality among our lawyers and are looking for candidates with strong interpersonal skills to join our team. An LL.M. in Taxation is preferred but not required.
