Mara Kravitz is an associate in Shipman's  Real Estate, Environmental, Energy, Land Use and Construction practice group.

Prior to joining Shipman, Mara worked in real estate development, land use and marketing, obtaining land use approvals in Westchester County, working for land use nonprofits in New York City, and managing teams of writers at a marketing consulting firm.

While attending law school, Mara worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable David W. Lannetti, Chief Judge of the Norfolk Circuit Court, Fourth Judicial Circuit of Virginia. She also worked for the Federal Public Defender and for the William & Mary Law School Immigration Clinic. Also while at law school, the William & Mary Law Review published Mara’s student note on public nuisance law.
