Matthew R. Connolly is an associate in Shipman & Goodwin’s Boston office and a member of the firm’s Trusts, Estates, and Fiduciary Management practice group. He assists individuals and families in creating clear, practical, and durable estate plans, with a focus on drafting foundational documents such as wills, revocable trusts, and incapacity instruments.  In addition to advising clients on core estate planning documents, Matt also has experience drafting irrevocable trusts to facilitate strategic transfer tax planning. 

Matt also handles the administration of estates and trusts. Matt’s approach emphasizes careful planning, organized administration, and responsive client service. He brings a practical, detail-oriented perspective to fiduciary administration and client communication, thereby striving to make the process as smooth as possible for his clients.

Matt is a dual citizen of the United States and Ireland.
