Matthew T. Repetto
Associate
Matthew Repetto serves as an associate in Shipman’s Business and Corporate practice group where he counsels clients on a wide range of complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, reorganizations, and venture financings.
Matthew also serves clients in an “outside general counsel” capacity, advising on matters such as entity formation, corporate governance, business operations, commercial contracting, regulatory compliance and other general corporate matters, and when necessary, Matthew calls on a multi-disciplinary team of lawyers at the firm to ensure that each client’s needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Matthew provides practical, business minded counsel to companies at all stages of growth and development, and his corporate practice spans multiple industries, with a particular focus on technology, healthcare, energy, aerospace, sports and entertainment, hospitality, and retail.
While in law school, Matthew served as associate managing editor for the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and as a student advocate in the St. John's Securities Arbitration Clinic. He also interned at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and FINRA.
Before joining Shipman, Matthew was a corporate and transactional associate in the New York office of an international law firm.
