Michael Radin is a corporate attorney in Shipman’s Boston office.  For more than three decades, he has advised businesses, investors, and property owners on critical transactions that shape their growth and long-term stability. Clients turn to him when they need a steady hand in complex negotiations, practical solutions to governance challenges, and strategies that balance business objectives with sound legal protections.

Michael works with companies across industries on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and reorganizations, helping both buyers and sellers achieve favorable outcomes. He assists entrepreneurs and closely-held businesses with structuring debt and equity financings, guiding them through venture capital investments, private placements, and lending arrangements. In addition to transactional work, he advises on governance structures, shareholder and buy-sell agreements, and distribution or licensing arrangements that strengthen client operations and reduce risk.

His practice also extends to real estate, where he counsels developers, investors, and businesses on acquisitions, financing, leasing, and dispositions of commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties. Many of his clients rely on him as outside general counsel, benefiting from his ability to anticipate challenges, negotiate effectively, and provide advice that integrates legal, financial, and operational considerations.

Recognized by Super Lawyers and other leading directories for his corporate and real estate work, Michael is also active in the business community. He has served on the board of the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) and is a member of the International Business Law Consortium, reflecting his commitment to supporting business growth locally and globally. Clients value his clarity, responsiveness, and ability to deliver strategies that protect assets while fostering new opportunities.

Michael served as the co-chair of the Corporate Law & Business Transactions group at Tarlow, Breed, Hart & Rodgers prior to joining Shipman.
