
Nate Plotkin is co-chair of the Corporate Trust Practice Group and a member of Shipman's Management Committee. He regularly represents corporate trustees, collateral agents, escrow agents and other fiduciaries and agents in corporate debt issues, high-yield bond financings, project finance and other secured and unsecured financing transactions. Nate also represents trustees and agents in default situations.
Prior to joining Shipman, Nate worked in the investment bank and brokerage industry as Assistant General Counsel. In his former role, he served as legal counsel to Capital Markets/Global Fixed Income businesses and advised administrative agents and collateral agents through restructurings, debtor-in-possession financings, section 363 sale processes and exit facilities.
While in law school, Nate served as a full-time judicial intern at the United States District Court, Southern District of New York and also interned with the Superior Court of Connecticut.
