Timothy S. Klimpl
Counsel
Timothy Klimpl practices as part of Shipman’s Tax and Employee Benefits Practice Group. Tim is an experienced lawyer who provides ERISA advice and related services to a variety of plan sponsors on employee benefit plans, including corporate, nonprofit, and governmental plans providing retirement, health, and other employee welfare benefits. Tim also advises employers in merger and acquisition transactions with respect to equity and incentive compensation, including stock options, restricted stock and “phantom equity," deferred compensation plans, and executive employment and severance agreements. Tim has represented clients in a variety of industries, including financial, private equity, construction, clean energy, medical, fashion, talent acquisition, and legal industries.
Tim is a member of the Fairfield County Bar Association where he co-chairs the Employment Law and Business Law Committees.
